Salary Range: $150,000 - $250,000 + Equity

Stage: $5M Pre-Seed Funding

About the Opportunity

We are partnering with a forward-thinking early-stage startup tackling complex challenges with innovative technology solutions. Backed by $5M in pre-seed funding, this company is building products designed to create a meaningful impact in its target market.

As a founding engineer, you'll play a crucial role in shaping the product, technology stack, and team culture at the earliest and most influential stage of growth.

As the founding engineer, you will:

  • Collaborate closely with the founding team to transform high-level goals into technical innovations.
  • Build scalable solutions that deliver measurable outcomes for end-users.
  • Define engineering best practices and establish a strong, collaborative team culture.

Ideal Candidate

We're looking for an experienced and adaptable engineer who:

  • Has 3+ years of professional experience in software development, with strong expertise in Python, TypeScript, and AWS. Bonus points for familiarity with infrastructure as code (IaC), serverless frameworks, or DevOps.
  • Thrives in a startup environment, embracing the fast pace and dynamic nature of early-stage work.
  • Has a proven ability to solve complex problems with creative, scalable solutions.
  • Values inclusivity, teamwork, and adaptability in a collaborative setting.

Why Join This Startup?

  • Early-stage influence over product, culture, and strategic direction.
  • Competitive salary ($150,000 - $250,000) and meaningful equity.
  • Flexible, remote-first working environment.
  • A commitment to fostering diversity, equity, and inclusion at every level.
