We are a fast-growing Stockholm-based startup with a team of 6, working on a cutting-edge creative product with AI at its core. We believe machine learning and AI are about to redefine what it means to be a creative, who can be part of a creative process and that creativity and AI are a uniquely powerful combination and an incredibly exciting field work in. We pride ourselves on our ability to rapidly adopt new developments, stay curious, and adapt quickly to changing circumstances.

In this role you will

Do R&D

  • Stay up to date with the latest research and advancements in the field of visual generative AI and machine learning.

  • Design, prototype, and evaluate new models and approaches that push the boundaries of what's possible.

  • Conduct experiments that drive product innovation and uncover novel solutions.

Build and launch

  • Implement state-of-the-art machine learning models with clean and efficient code.

  • Set up infrastructure and tools for fine-tuning and deploying models at scale.

  • Build and maintain data pipelines needed for your models.

  • Work closely with our engineering team to ensure seamless functionality and a high-quality user experience.

  • Monitor the performance of deployed models, making necessary adjustments to improve accuracy, efficiency and creativity.

  • Work closely with product managers, designers and engineers, to help shape the direction of our product.

In your first

Week

  • Set up your local development environment and dive into our codebase and existing model architectures.

  • Explore our product-experiment with generating art.

  • Deliver a small bug fix or quality-of-life improvement to production.

3 Months

  • Review the performance and retrain many of our production models.

  • Conduct experiments and iterate on your models, incorporating feedback from the team and customers.

  • Develop at least one novel approach to solve a customer need.

  • Set up monitoring and alerts for all critical AI infrastructure.

6 Months

  • Develop deep expertise in visual generative AI.

  • Optimize our model deployment and training infrastructure to drive enhanced performance while improving cost-efficiency.

  • Accelerate our R&D process to drive continuous product innovation.

You'll be a great fit if

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science (Master's or Ph.D. in related fields preferred) or equivalent work experience.

  • 3+ years of hands-on experience with machine learning projects, focusing on visual/generative AI (computer vision, diffusion models, transformers).

  • Solid understanding of machine learning concepts and techniques, as well as their underlying mathematical principles.

  • Experience transforming research projects into scalable production services.

  • Proficiency in Python and strong overall programming skills.

Nice to have

  • Strong interest in creative applications of AI and a passion for pushing boundaries.

  • Contributions to AI research or applications in the form of publications or open-source projects.

  • Familiarity with advanced diffusion pipelines.

  • Experience deploying to GPU-accelerated cloud environments.

  • Prioritize delivering value to users over perfecting models.

What we offer

A challenging and fulfilling opportunity to contribute to the development of a groundbreaking creative product.

A supportive, collaborative, and innovative work environment with a team of like-minded individuals.

An opportunity to join an early-stage company and influence how we build the company before there are too many processes and structures in place.

A learning environment, with interesting challenges to solve and an ambitious team to support you.

Office located in the heart of Stockholm.
