Position Summary

We are seeking a Manufacturing Technician to join our Lean & Manufacturing Engineering Team. In this role, you will play a key part in improving and developing manufacturing processes to ensure safety, quality, and flexibility. You will work closely with production staff and other internal stakeholders, acting as a link between engineering, operations, and quality assurance.


Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with internal teams and project members to improve manufacturing processes.

  • Act as a technical liaison between operators, team leaders, EHS, quality, R&D, and manufacturing engineering.

  • Supervise and optimise production processes with a focus on lean manufacturing.

  • Develop and implement tools, resources, and methods to improve safety, ergonomics, and product quality.

  • Create and maintain PFMEA (Process Failure Mode Effects Analysis), process documentation, and work instructions.

  • Ensure validation and documentation of processes; deliver training for production employees.

  • Support the release of process designs in collaboration with the quality assurance team.

  • Continuously monitor and respond to the needs of both internal and external customers.


Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree (HBO/WO) in Mechatronics, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.

  • A minimum of 3 years' relevant experience in process optimisation or automation.

  • Solid understanding of Lean Manufacturing principles, PFMEA, and Value Stream Mapping.

  • Proficient in both Dutch and English, written and spoken.

  • A proactive, hands-on, and structured approach with strong problem-solving skills.

  • A collaborative mindset and team-oriented attitude.
