£50,000 - £80,000 (depending on experience)

We're supporting a leading organisation in the nuclear sector who are expanding their Safety Engineering team and seeking an experienced professional to provide technical leadership, mentor junior staff, and deliver high-quality safety assessments across a variety of projects.
The Role
Lead and deliver safety documentation for UK civil nuclear facilities (or defence).
Produce and review assessments including radiological/consequence, fault schedules, HAZANs, design basis and probabilistic.
Provide technical leadership, mentor junior staff, and manage workloads effectively.
Collaborate with stakeholders, support proposals, and contribute to wider business development.
What We're Looking For
10+ years' experience in nuclear safety case development/support.
Strong safety assessment skills across multiple technical areas.
Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and team mentoring skills.
Desirable Skills
Chemotoxic or environmental assessments.
Security case development (physical, cyber, or Vital Area).
Safeguards assessments.
Consultancy or licensee background.
