TEC Partners are working with a leading scientific equipment and glassware manufacturer that accelerates chemistry through their specialist expertise in chemical synthesis, evaporation, production, and R&D equipment. With more than 50 years in business, the company has been proudly supporting science and research ever since and is constantly looking to improve the chemistry and engineering behind their products.

They are currently looking for a Scientific Content Writer to work collaboratively with scientists, managers, and marketing team to produce high-quality written content and contribute to successful marketing campaigns. The ideal candidate will have a scientific background to be able to translate complex scientific topics and present them to a wider audience in an engaging and clear manner.

Job responsibilities:

  • Creating written content to engage with a global audience, adapting writing style to influence the target audience effectively
  • Convey complex scientific content in a clear and structured manner
  • Content includes:

White papers
Website content
Social media
Promotional email
Product instructions
Articles, interviews, PR
Brochures

  • Creating scripts for technical webinars and videos
  • Discussions with managers and technical specialists to decide on topics that are useful and appealing to the target audience
  • Long-term content plan creation
  • Existing content reviewing and editing
  • Assisting in the creation of sales training tools for international and internal technical training

Requirements:

  • Higher education in chemistry or related field - background in chemistry is required
  • Excellent writing skills, ability to write to a high-level audience
  • Confidence in using and understanding scientific language and communication
  • Experience creating engaging written technical content

Desirable:

  • BSc in a relevant scientific subject
  • Experience in science communication or education
  • Lab work experience

  • Excellent communication skills and ability to interact with colleagues, distributors, and suppliers
  • Willing to do research and learn new skills, plan and analyse results
  • Great organisation skills, good attention to detail and a great level of accuracy
  • Willing to seek ways to constantly improve and propose new initiatives
  • Enthusiasm, a positive 'can-do' attitude
