We are working with a leading bespoke engineering solutions provider to recruit an experienced Installation Engineer for an initial 3-month contract. This role will involve extensive on-site work and regular travel, with locations ranging from the UK and Europe to the US, depending on your availability and preferences.
Responsibilities:
- Mechanical and fabrication-based installation of large, bespoke systems
- Hooking up and testing hydraulic systems
- Installation and assembly of heavy structural elements and piping
- Working on-site across varying international locations
- Interpreting engineering drawings and ensuring accurate, safe installation
- Operating scissor lifts and other lifting equipment as required
Requirements:
- Proven experience with hydraulics systems and mechanical installation
- Familiarity with scissor lifts and similar access equipment
- Background in both electrical and mechanical engineering
- Experience working with heavy structures, piping, and hydraulic integration
- Physically capable of handling demanding installation work on-site
- Willingness and flexibility to travel for extended site visits
Package & Allowances:
- £22 - £30 an hour
- Travel, flights, and accommodation fully paid
- £30 daily allowance (if staying in a B&B), £35 if not - applicable in the UK and Europe
- $100 daily allowance when working in the US
- All work is Outside IR35
