About the Role
As a Founding AI Engineer, you'll lead the development of core AI infrastructure for testing, benchmarking, and monitoring large language model (LLM)-based voice agents. This is a deeply technical role that involves close collaboration with customers and product leadership to ensure agents behave reliably in production environments.
What You'll Do
Design and build AI systems for evaluating and stress-testing conversational agents at scale.
Create pipelines for benchmarking LLMs and simulating diverse real-world conversational scenarios.
Implement real-time monitoring, feedback loops, and alerting mechanisms for deployed agents.
Continuously improve system accuracy and performance through experimentation and iteration.
Engage with early customers to gather feedback and rapidly improve tooling.
Help shape product direction, technical architecture, and team culture.
What We're Looking For
Minimum Requirements:
1+ years of experience building and deploying AI systems in production environments.
Proficiency in Python and strong problem-solving ability.
A startup mindset: comfortable with ambiguity, fast iterations, and end-to-end ownership.
Curiosity and initiative-someone who spots opportunities for improvement and runs with them.
Bonus Points For:
Experience at an early-stage startup or in a founding/first-engineer-type role.
Background in LLM evaluation, AI benchmarking, or observability tools.
Exposure to real-time systems or large-scale conversational agent architectures.
Why Join Us?
