Your Role as a Senior Data Scientist:

  • Drive company-wide machine learning strategies in a collaborative BI environment.
  • Partner with various departments to identify business opportunities and tackle challenges through data science.
  • Develop and refine predictive models (e.g., booking cancellation, churn, revenue optimization) and create personalized user experiences on our platform.
  • Take models from concept to production, ensuring performance and continual improvement.
  • Lead data science initiatives, aligning with stakeholders to ensure business impact and drive measurable results.

Our Tech Stack:

  • Data Science: Python, Sagemaker
  • Database: AWS (Redshift, Athena, Glue, S3)
  • Data Pipelines: Airflow, DBT
  • Visualization & Analytics: Looker, SQL
  • Collaboration: Git

Your Backpack Essentials:

  • 4+ years of data science experience with a strong record in machine learning and predictive analytics.
  • Background in Machine Learning, Mathematics, Computer Science, or related fields.
  • Proficiency in Python, SQL, and ideally experience with Airflow, DBT, and ranking algorithms.
  • Strategic business understanding and stakeholder collaboration skills.
