We're supporting our client in the search for a hands-on, DevOps Manager to help shape the future of their DevOps function in a team built on trust, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and develop a high-performing DevOps team.
  • Influence infrastructure decisions, set best practices, and maintain our ability to release changes frequently and reliably.
  • Foster a culture of ownership, learning, and constructive feedback within your team.
  • Solve complex challenges related to scaling, security, and operational efficiency in a multi-tenant, globally distributed environment.
  • Collaborate across engineering, design, product, and business teams to drive operational excellence and deliver real value to users.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience of managing/leading a team in another hands-on position.
  • A strong ability to align strategy and execution.
  • You have deep technical knowledge and hands-on experience with AWS, Terraform and Kubernetes (in production essential).
  • You're confident running production systems in large environments, including incident response, change management, and system reliability.
  • It would be advantageous for candidates to have some knowledge of C#/.Net applications
