Contribute to system-level architecture and interface definition.
Support design verification, testing, and debugging of FPGA modules.
Ensure designs meet relevant performance, timing, and reliability criteria for deployment in defence applications.
Essential Experience:
Proven commercial experience in FPGA design (VHDL or Verilog).
Strong understanding of FPGA toolchains, preferably Xilinx (Vivado/ISE) or Intel (Quartus).
Familiarity with simulation, synthesis, and timing analysis tools.
Experience working with high-speed data interfaces and signal processing.
Comfortable working in a high-integrity or safety/mission-critical environment.
Desirable:
Exposure to radar, RF systems, or sensor technologies.
Knowledge of embedded systems and integration with microprocessors or SoCs.
Background working in defence, aerospace, or secure communications sectors.
Offer:
Salary up to £80,000 depending on experience.
Office-based role in Cambridge.
Engaged, technical environment working on real-world challenges.
Opportunity to work on cutting-edge systems that are deployed globally.
