Manufacturing Engineer - Enschede, Netherlands

Are you a hands-on Manufacturing Engineer who thrives in a fast-paced production environment? We're partnering with an industry-leading engineering business based in Enschede to add a talented Manufacturing Engineer to their growing team.


What You'll Do

As Manufacturing Engineer, you'll play a vital role in supporting and improving daily operations across production. You'll work closely with cross-functional teams to increase efficiency, reduce downtime, and introduce Lean manufacturing practices.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Providing technical support for assembly and production teams.

  • Identifying and implementing process improvements (Lean, Six Sigma, 5S, etc.).

  • Designing and optimising tooling, fixtures, and jigs.

  • Conducting time studies, root cause analyses, and process validations.

  • Collaborating with Quality, R&D, and suppliers to ensure process reliability.

  • Leading small- to mid-scale continuous improvement and capital projects.


What We're Looking For

We're seeking someone with:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or Manufacturing Engineering (or equivalent).

  • 2+ years' experience in a hands-on manufacturing/production engineering role.

  • Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing principles and practical application.

  • Strong CAD (e.g. SolidWorks or AutoCAD) and Microsoft Office skills.

  • Fluent Dutch and/or English communication skills.

  • A proactive, solution-focused mindset with excellent collaboration skills.
