Production Engineer
Location: Venlo

About the Role

As a Production Engineer, you'll act as the vital link between project design, production, and delivery. You'll ensure projects are executed efficiently, with the right materials, processes, and quality standards in place. This is a hands-on, dynamic role within a rapidly growing industry focused on sustainable energy and CO₂ recovery solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Project & Production Coordination

  • Liaise between design, project teams, suppliers, and manufacturing sites

  • Develop and monitor production schedules, resolving bottlenecks proactively

  • Support sales and project teams with manufacturability and feasibility input

Work Preparation

  • Prepare routing, material lists, and work instructions for production

  • Coordinate external suppliers and subcontractors, ensuring clear communication

  • Manage material procurement and availability in line with project phases

Quality & Compliance

  • Perform mechanical inspections, in-production audits, and Go/No-Go checks

  • Support commissioning and documentation in line with PED/ASME standards

  • Ensure quality requirements are met throughout the production cycle

Continuous Improvement

  • Identify and drive process improvements across production and workflows

  • Support standardisation and documentation for long-term efficiency gains

Health & Safety

  • Follow internal and client-specific HSE standards

  • Maintain a safe, clean, and compliant working environment

Qualifications & Competences

  • MBO-level education with technical knowledge of machining, materials, and production systems

  • Minimum 3 years of relevant experience as a Production Engineer

  • Skilled in PLM/ERP software and MS Office tools

  • Advanced English; Dutch or German an advantage

  • Knowledge of welding inspection or CE PED is a plus

  • Independent, proactive, and solution-driven

  • Strong communicator and effective team player

  • Willingness to travel internationally (~30%)
