Opportunity Overview

We are supporting a large organisation seeking a Senior Developer with strong experience in Oracle Fusion ERP, particularly across HR modules, to support and enhance a critical enterprise platform within its Shared Application Services function.

This role will focus on the stabilisation, maintenance and continuous improvement of a live enterprise service environment. You will play a key role in ensuring the reliability and performance of the platform while contributing to future enhancements and releases. The position combines hands-on technical expertise with responsibility for workload coordination, incident resolution and ongoing service improvement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Contribute to the ongoing stability, maintenance and enhancement of a live Oracle Fusion ERP environment.
  • Coordinate and distribute workloads across the team, ensuring tasks are assigned effectively based on skills, priorities and delivery timelines.
  • Prioritise development and support activities to ensure critical business needs are addressed in a timely manner.
  • Monitor progress against delivery plans, conducting regular reviews to ensure alignment with service and project objectives.
  • Investigate incidents and perform root cause analysis to identify underlying issues and implement long-term solutions.
  • Manage and resolve L2 and L3 support incidents, working closely with internal teams and third-party partners where required.
  • Maintain clear communication with stakeholders regarding incident status, progress and expected resolution timelines.
  • Contribute to problem management by proactively identifying recurring issues and implementing preventative measures.
  • Support release and deployment activities, ensuring changes are fully tested and validated before moving to production environments.

Essential Skills and Experience

  • Proven experience supporting and developing within Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP environments, ideally in a senior or lead developer capacity.
  • Subject matter expertise in one or more Oracle Fusion modules, particularly HR-focused areas such as:
    • Employee Records
    • Absence Management
    • Recruitment
    • Learning
    • Performance Management
    • Self Service HR
    • Payroll and Time & Labour
  • Experience managing or coordinating workloads within a technical support or development team.
  • Strong experience working with incident management, problem management and root cause analysis in live service environments.
  • Ability to work on L2 and L3 support incidents, coordinating with internal teams and third-party vendors where necessary.
  • Strong understanding of enterprise business processes, such as Procure to Pay, Order to Cash, Record to Report and Period Close.
