About the Opportunity

An early-stage startup is building the only platform for self-improving voice AI agents. After closing a $4.7M seed round, the company has experienced rapid growth, particularly in the home improvement vertical. They are preparing to raise Series A this year, making it a perfect time to join pre-raise and be part of the company's next stage of growth.

They are now looking for a Forward Deployed Engineer to take ownership of client deployments and play a key role in shaping both the product and customer experience.

The Role

As a Forward Deployed Engineer, you will:

  • Own end-to-end technical deployments for clients, integrating our AI platform into their workflows.

  • Build demos, prototypes, and custom solutions to meet customer needs.

  • Ship optimizations, scripts, and cloud-based functions (Azure) to improve system performance and automation.

  • Collaborate closely with the product team to translate customer feedback into real product improvements.

  • Travel within the US (~2x/month) to support on-site deployments and client success.

  • Solve real-world problems using Python, APIs, and cloud infrastructure.

What We're Looking For

The ideal candidate should have:

  • Strong Python skills and experience building production-grade solutions.

  • Some technical background or familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure preferred).

  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work directly with clients.

  • A startup mindset - willing to take ownership, iterate quickly, and adapt to uncertainty.

  • A founder's mentality - proactive problem-solving and initiative to drive projects forward.

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience in a business or technical role (startups, consulting, or product-facing positions).

  • Experience working in small, fast-moving teams (<100 employees) preferred.

  • Comfortable with frequent travel and client-facing responsibilities.

  • Excited to work in a high-impact, hands-on role on the frontlines of AI adoption.
