Production Manager

Location: Liberty, SC

Salary: Up to $140,000 + Bonus

Contract: Full-Time, Permanent

Shift: 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM (occasional Saturdays)

We are recruiting for an experienced Production Manager to join a highly regarded, international leader within its sector, operating in a high-volume, highly regulated manufacturing environment producing small, precision components.

This is a key leadership role within a business known for its engineering excellence, quality standards, and continuous improvement culture.

The Role

You will take full ownership of production operations, with a strong emphasis on driving quality, improving processes, and embedding continuous improvement across the shop floor.

Working in a technically advanced environment, you'll lead initiatives that enhance process stability, right-first-time performance, and operational efficiency, while developing high-performing teams.

Key Responsibilities

Quality & Continuous Improvement

  • Champion a right-first-time culture, improving quality, consistency, and process control
  • Drive reduction in scrap, rework, and defects through root cause analysis
  • Lead Lean / Six Sigma initiatives to improve efficiency, throughput, and cost
  • Embed standard work, visual management, and KPI-driven performance

Operational & Financial Performance

  • Deliver production targets while maintaining quality and cost control
  • Manage key P&L drivers, including labour efficiency, scrap, and operational spend
  • Use data and metrics to drive performance and decision-making

Leadership & Culture

  • Lead, coach, and develop teams to deliver high performance
  • Build a culture focused on quality, accountability, and continuous improvement
  • Maintain a strong presence on the shop floor, engaging and supporting teams

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with Engineering, Quality, and Supply Chain to deliver sustainable improvements
  • Support new product introductions with a focus on manufacturability and quality

What We're Looking For

  • 5+ years' experience in a Production Manager or Manufacturing Leadership role
  • Strong background in high-volume, regulated manufacturing environments
  • Demonstrated success in continuous improvement and quality-driven initiatives
  • Experience managing P&L and operational performance
  • Strong knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, and process improvement methodologies
  • Data-driven mindset with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Confident leader able to drive change and influence teams at all levels
