Application Support Analyst
Location: Remote (UK) with occasional travel to Milton Keynes when required
Salary: Up to £35,000 per annum
The Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced Application Support Analyst to join a collaborative and customer-focused support team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys troubleshooting complex application issues, working closely with clients, and acting as the bridge between technical teams and end users.
You will play a key role in supporting business-critical software applications, managing incidents and service requests, and ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction through effective communication and problem resolution.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the first point of contact for application-related incidents and service requests

Log, prioritise, investigate and manage tickets through to resolution

Perform initial triage and root cause analysis of technical and functional issues

Work closely with Infrastructure, Product and Development teams to resolve client issues

Build strong relationships with customers and internal stakeholders

Provide regular updates and maintain transparency throughout the support process

Ensure service levels and customer expectations are consistently met
About You

2-3+ years' experience in an Application Support, IT Support or Service Desk environment

Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills

Experience managing incidents and service requests

Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

Ability to take ownership of issues and drive them through to resolution

Familiarity with ITIL processes is desirable

Experience within Financial Services, Banking or FinTech environments would be advantageous

German language skills would be beneficial but are not essential
