We're working with a highly respected engineering business that develops advanced electronic systems for some of the most demanding automotive and motorsport applications in the world. Due to continued growth, they're looking to add an experienced Electronics Engineer to their engineering team.
This is an opportunity to work on cutting-edge products where reliability, performance, and innovation are critical. You'll be involved throughout the full product lifecycle, from concept and design through to validation and production support, collaborating closely with software, systems, and manufacturing teams.
The Role
As an Electronics Engineer, you'll play a key role in the design and development of high-reliability electronic hardware used in safety-critical and performance-driven environments.
Key Responsibilities

Electronic system design from concept through to production

Schematic capture, PCB design, prototyping and validation

Design of analogue and digital circuits, including RF, power management and signal conditioning

Sensor integration and development, including pressure, temperature and humidity sensing technologies

CAN and CAN FD hardware design and implementation

Hardware testing, verification and fault finding

Supporting APQP activities, FMEA reviews and risk assessments

Working closely with manufacturing teams to ensure DFM and DFT principles are implemented

Producing technical reports, validation documentation and engineering records

Investigating product issues and conducting root-cause analysis
What We're Looking For
-
Degree qualified in Electronics Engineering or a related discipline

Strong background in analogue and digital electronic design

Experience developing and integrating sensors within automotive or motorsport environments

Experience with schematic capture and PCB layout tools

Knowledge of CAN and CAN FD systems

Understanding of RF design, particularly 433MHz and 2.4GHz technologies

Knowledge of EMC and EMI design considerations

Experience troubleshooting electronics to component level

Strong documentation and technical reporting skills
Desirable Experience

Automotive or motorsport industry experience

Exposure to embedded software and hardware integration

Circuit simulation tools

Advanced PCB technologies including HDI, Flex or Rigid-Flex

TS16949 or similar automotive quality environments

CID or CID+ certification
