NPI Manufacturing Engineer

The Opportunity
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a NPI Manufacturing Engineer to join a high-technology engineering and manufacturing environment, supporting the development and introduction of new products into production.
Working as part of a multidisciplinary engineering team, you'll play a key role in developing manufacturing processes, solving complex technical challenges and ensuring products transition successfully from concept through qualification into full production.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the development and optimisation of manufacturing processes for new and existing products. Support New Product Introduction (NPI) activities from design through to production. Collaborate with Design, Quality and Process Engineering teams to deliver robust manufacturing solutions. Produce and maintain manufacturing documentation, including work instructions, process specifications and Bills of Materials (BOMs). Support qualification and validation activities for new products and manufacturing processes. Work with suppliers to introduce new materials, equipment and manufacturing capabilities. Drive continuous improvement initiatives to improve quality, yield and manufacturing efficiency. Provide technical guidance across cross-functional engineering teams.
About You
You'll have experience working within a manufacturing engineering or process engineering environment and enjoy solving technical challenges while driving continuous improvement.
You'll ideally have experience with:
Manufacturing Engineering or Process Engineering New Product Introduction Manufacturing process development and optimisation Process qualification and validation ERP/MRP systems Manufacturing documentation and technical reporting Continuous Improvement methodologies
Experience within any of the following industries would be highly advantageous:
Electronics Microelectronics Semiconductor Aerospace & Defence High-reliability manufacturing Knowledge of cleanroom manufacturing, electronic assembly, AS9100, ISO 9001 or similar quality standards would also be beneficial.

Applicants must be eligible to obtain SC clearance, which requires candidates to have the right to work in the UK and have resided in the UK for the required qualifying period. Successful applicants will be required to undergo the appropriate vetting process before employment can commence.
