About this Wiring Technician Role
This is a hands-on position where you will be directly involved in the build, assembly, and inspection of bespoke electrical wiring harnesses for cars and boats. You will lead on complex builds, support prototype development, and mentor junior technicians, all while ensuring every harness meets the highest motorsport and marine quality standards.

What is expected of you as a Wiring Technician?
- Extensive hands-on experience building electrical harnesses in motorsport, aerospace or marine environments.
- Proficiency with System 25
- Ability to read and interpret complex technical drawings and schematics
- Experience with electrical testing equipment/software
- Strong knowledge of wiring, crimping, connector assembly, and harness routing best practices
- Exceptional attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving
- Able to work independently and as part of a high-performing team
Key Responsibilities
- Build and assemble low-volume and prototype wiring harnesses to exacting motorsport/automotive standards
- Lead complex or first-time builds and assist with prototype development
- Support the day-to-day operations of the harness workshop
- Pick and prepare line-side stock parts for harness builds
- Identify and report build issues, deviations, or process improvements
- Mentor and support junior and trainee technicians
- Carry out quality inspections to ensure harness conformity
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organised working environment
- Follow company procedures, quality control standards, and health & safety requirements
- Contribute flexibly to meet production deadlines
- Participate in training to further develop skills and build quality
