As a Backend Engineer, you will take real ownership of the systems that power AI employees at scale. This is a hands-on role focused on building resilient, high-throughput backend services while shaping the foundations of a fast-growing product.
What You Will Do
- Design and build scalable backend services and APIs supporting AI-driven workflows
- Own features end-to-end, from architecture through deployment
- Work closely with product, design, and AI teams to support real customer use cases
- Build and maintain cloud-native infrastructure with strong reliability and observability standards
- Improve system scalability, performance, and long-term maintainability
Tech Stack
TypeScript, Node.js, Cloud Infrastructure, Containers, Kubernetes, CI/CD, SQL, and NoSQL databases
About You
- 2+ years of backend engineering experience in high-growth or startup environments
- Experience building and operating scalable backend systems in production
- Strong understanding of distributed systems, APIs, databases, and performance
- Comfortable owning technical decisions and shipping independently
- Clear communicator with a collaborative mindset
- Bonus: experience working on AI or data-intensive products
