Founding Engineer, AI Reasoning Systems
Location: On-site in Paris
Compensation: Up to €100,000 + up to 1% equity
An early stage, venture backed startup is building an AI reasoning layer that sits on top of complex enterprise data and answers business critical questions in plain English. This is not a dashboard or reporting tool, but a decision making system designed to help companies operate with clarity and speed.
As a Founding Engineer, you will design and build the core architecture, data models, and reasoning systems from first principles. You will work on hard problems across AI systems, backend architecture, and data infrastructure, with full ownership and direct impact on the product and technical direction.
This role is ideal for engineers who want early stage ownership, enjoy solving genuinely difficult technical problems, and are motivated by building foundational systems from the ground up.
