Our client is an early-stage, venture-backed technology company building compliance infrastructure for AI Agents. Their platform provides runtime control, auditing, and regulatory compliance for agentic systems operating at scale, helping enterprises in regulated industries deploy AI responsibly, without sacrificing speed or innovation.
Founded by experienced leaders from top-tier ML and AI governance backgrounds, the company counts a major global banking group among its flagship customers and is now expanding its US go-to-market function.
The Role
This is a rare founding sales opportunity for a hands-on enterprise sales leader who wants to build from the ground up.
Reporting directly to the CEO, you will own the entire US go-to-market and sales motion, with an initial focus on financial services and other regulated industries. You'll be responsible for everything from sharpening positioning and defining ICPs, to building pipeline, running enterprise sales cycles, and closing multi-six-figure and seven-figure deals.
This is a player-manager role in the truest sense, early on, no task is too small. Over time, you'll scale what works, building the team, processes, and playbooks for sustained growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Own the full enterprise sales cycle end-to-end, across fintechs and major enterprise accounts
- Build trusted C-level relationships, positioning the company as a strategic partner for responsible AI and agent governance
- Drive new business and expansion by identifying high-impact use cases and articulating differentiated value
- Collaborate closely with founders, Product, and Research to feed customer insight back into the roadmap
- Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and executive forums
- Design and host executive dinners, workshops, and sponsored events to deepen market presence
- Contribute to US revenue growth, with a path into European markets over time
What We're Looking For
- 6+ years of enterprise B2B SaaS sales experience, ideally in compliance, data, or AI platforms
- Demonstrated ability to close the first 3-5 enterprise customers at an early-stage startup, working closely with founders
- Exceptional relationship-building skills with senior and C-level stakeholders
- Strong storytelling ability, able to make AI governance tangible and compelling for non-technical executives
- Entrepreneurial mindset: comfortable with ambiguity, motivated by ownership, excited to define a new category
- Based in the US (East Coast preferred), with willingness to travel
Nice to Have
- Experience with land-and-expand or consumption-based sales models
- Structured sales methodology experience (e.g. MEDDPICC, value selling, account planning)
- Background in financial regulation or compliance
- Prior experience selling generative AI or agentic systems
- Professional proficiency in Spanish
