TL;DR
Building an AI that can directly edit live products, understand design systems, and generate production-ready UI. Not from scratch, not via repo access. Real products, real context. You'll own the agentic intelligence that makes this possible.
What's the problem?
Current AI tools either generate mockups from scratch or require full code access. Neither works for real product teams.
We're building the missing layer: AI that understands an existing product's design system, context, and patterns, then generates high-quality UI that actually fits and ships.
What you'll do
- Own the agentic system, how multiple AI components reason and collaborate
- Design and build RAG pipelines for contextual design understanding
- Create evaluation frameworks for "production-quality" outputs
- Push beyond standard approaches, this needs breakthrough thinking
- Help define the technical direction from day one
6-month goal: Output matches a solid mid-level designer, in seconds
What we're looking for
- Built RAG systems from scratch, not just used frameworks
- Hands-on with agentic systems in production (debugging loops, hallucinations, etc.)
- Experience building evaluation frameworks (not just intuition)
- Strong understanding of LLM behaviour, limitations, and trade-offs
- Comfortable operating in ambiguity and solving unsolved problems
Tech: Python, LLMs, MLOps/LLMOps, cloud (AWS/GCP/Azure)
Bonus: Reinforcement learning
