Assistant Technical Manager
Location: Attleborough
Salary: Up to £46,000 per annum

About the Role
An opportunity has arisen for an Assistant Technical Manager to support the Technical Manager in ensuring compliance with customer, legal, and regulatory standards within a fast-paced FMCG environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Deputise for the Technical Manager when required
- Support and improve technical systems and processes
- Ensure HACCP-based standards are followed across the site
- Monitor technical KPIs and support continuous improvement
- Manage customer specifications and retailer portals
- Oversee services such as laboratory testing, hygiene, and pest control
- Produce reports, manage data, and handle customer queries/complaints
- Support and lead audits and customer visits where appropriate
- Liaise with the Food Standards Agency
- Assist with CAPA processes
Skills & Experience
- Experience in a technical role within an FMCG environment (essential)
- Knowledge of HACCP and BRCGS standards
- Understanding of retailer codes of practice
- Strong IT and organisational skills
- Ability to manage priorities in a fast-paced environment
