As a Backend Engineer, you will take real ownership of the systems that power a fast-growing LLM-native product. This is a hands-on role focused on building reliable, high-performance backend services while shaping the foundations of a small, senior engineering team.
What You Will Do
Design and build scalable backend services and APIs supporting LLM-driven workflows
Own features end-to-end, from idea and architecture through deployment and iteration
Work closely with product, design, and leadership teams to support real customer use cases
Build and maintain cloud-native infrastructure with strong reliability, observability, and performance standards
Continuously improve system scalability, maintainability, and operational excellence
Tech Stack
Go (primary), distributed systems, APIs, cloud infrastructure, observability tooling, SQL and data pipelines
Experience in Go is a plus but not required; strong fundamentals in a statically typed backend language such as Java, C#, Rust, or similar are essential
About You
2-4 years of backend engineering experience building production systems for customer-facing products
Strong understanding of systems design, API design, reliability, performance, and observability
Comfortable owning technical decisions and shipping independently
Product-minded, with a bias for action and low-ego collaboration
Clear communicator who thrives in small, high-trust, high-autonomy teams
Bonus: experience building AI or LLM-powered products
Be part of a small, high-calibre engineering team shipping real-world LLM products used by paying customers. This role offers strong ownership, technical depth, and the chance to help define the backend foundations of a rapidly scaling AI platform.
